Q: I submitted my order through Paypal and haven’t
heard anything back from you. It’s been over 2 weeks.
A: Check your Paypal receipt email. Occasionally Paypal
transactions do not go through. You will know this if your Transaction ID is
“0” and if your Date of Purchase is something odd, like “December 31, 1969.”
We apologize for this technical glitch Paypal experiences sometimes. Please
resubmit your order, as your account or credit card were never charged. Once
you see an accurate date and Transaction ID, you’ll know it went through and
we’ll get your order right out to you!
Q: What is your return policy?
A: For Fagas Straps, we provide a full refund within 30 days from your date
of purchase via Paypal if you purchased them through Paypal. You will need
to send them back to our PO Box address at your expense. Once we receive the
straps, we will send your refund. For Upholsterer’s webbing purchases, we do
not offer refunds, as we cut the webbing for each specific order. Metal
Grips are non-refundable as well.
Q: What do I order if my furniture uses loop straps?
A: We sell Pirelli Upholsterer’s Webbing for loop straps, as they are no
longer manufactured. To substitute webbing for loop straps: Measure the
opening and add 10 inches to each length. Cut and remove old straps. Cut
doweling into sections for each individual piece of webbing. Cut new webbing
into required lengths including the extra 10 inches. Insert webbing through
the slot underneath the side of the platform, pull through 5 inches, place
the cut dowel against the slot opening, pull the end of webbing up through
the slot so it is underneath the long length of webbing. Then repeat on the
opposite side.
Q: Why can’t I replace only the straps that are broken?
A: If you do not replace all of the straps, the new ones will be providing
more support than your old, stretched-out straps. They will wear out quicker
and your cushions will be unevenly supported, decreasing the comfort of your
furniture.
Q: My new straps smell strongly of rubber.
A: Spraying the straps with Armor All® helps reduce the rubber odor.
Otherwise, it usually dissipates in 2-3 weeks.
Q: Can I order for pickup if I live in/near San Diego?
A: Yes, please print the order form from our website. Complete it and mail
it to our PO Box with a check or money order enclosed for the products you
ordered plus sales tax (but not shipping). Once we receive your order, we
will contact you to set up a time and location for you to pick up your
order.
